Alternative Medicine Practice | PPC Case Study

Objectives

This particular Alternative Medicine client happened to be selling large quantities of hand sanitizer, just as the COVID-19 pandemic began in the United States during February and March, 2020. It became quite apparent that hand sanitizer would be in high demand for the next few months. This client asked us to help them utilize Google Ads to sell as much of it as they could, as soon as possible.

How the objectives were achieved

We began building out a robust Google Ads campaign to launch in early April, 2020. As soon as the first ads were approved and went live, sales went absolutely crazy. Throughout April, 2020, we gradually expanded the campaign and increased AdSpend to accommodate the additional traffic that these ads were bringing in.

Results

Through the month of April, 2020, this client spent a total of $5,093.08 in Google AdSpend. As shown in the graph above, their campaign performed as follows:

  • Their ads received 7,610+ clicks
  • Their campaign produced 811 conversions
  • The cost per conversion (CPC) was $6.28

The total cost hand sanitizer sold was just about $58,000! That means that their return on AdSpend was 1,138%.

Needless to say, this was a very successful PPC campaign.
