Storytelling has been part of human history since the beginning of time. Starting with visual storytelling some thousands of years ago, our ancestors carved and painted their stories into stone and mud in the Chauvet cave in what is now France. The ancient civilizations of Egypt used hieroglyphics to weave tales of magic and mystery, that even now fascinate and confuse scholars.
