Our objective was to increase the amount of organic traffic to the website using a variety of SEO strategies and tactics that are proven to help increase rankings and drive qualified organic traffic to their website.
The client is a lawyer in the midwest United States who specializes in DUI defense services. This client has been with Arcane Marketing for the last 4 years and has enjoyed decent success. However, with a consistent budget that has never increased and a fluctuating economy due to the coronavirus pandemic, we realized that we needed a slight “bump” in performance. However, increasing the budget was not an option.
How the objectives were achieved
We decided to begin focusing more of our efforts in our link building processes. The website generally has really good on-page optimization and is perfectly optimized for a user’s mobile experience. Additionally, the client has an in-house content writer who posts regularly to their blog. We decided to shift the client’s budget to a link building strategy that consisted of:
- Guest blog posting
- Outreach link building
- Asset creation including infographic design
- Local SEO listing submissions
We were successful in obtaining links via outreach by almost 8%. In other words, out of 100 attempts to obtain a link from websites with a domain authority of 50+, 8 of them complied.
Our guest blog posting efforts also brought in roughly 20 backlinks from websites with domain authorities above 60.
Additionally, we utilized local listing directories to obtain many more links.
All of these link building processes began in May of 2020 and are continuing to this day.
From September of 2019 to September of 2020, there were 4,478 new organic users who found our client in Google Search. From September 2018 to September 2019. only 573 new organic users found our client in Google Search. That is an increase of 681%.
Our client has reported a LARGE increase in business, revenue, and leads. Needless to say, this client is going to stay on board with us.
